Ellen Bowers is a writer and artist who divides her time between Missouri and Los Angeles.  Her topics and interests are wide and varied–travel, ethnic diversity, all things cultural. She likes odd and bizarre things and often is the only one laughing in a movie theater.

Ellen has written 13 books and co-authored one more. She also edits and proofreads book manuscripts for other writers, getting their work ready to publish.

When she is not writing or doing art, you may find her loitering in coffee houses, sidewalk cafes, bookstores, or art galleries.
